Kindergarten Rainbow Fish

This week, Kindergarten is going to create their own rainbow fish! Complete with sparkly scales! We're reading the book, The Rainbow Fish, and learning how to draw and paint our own!
Materials:
Pencils
aluminum foil

Day 1: Read the book, The Rainbow Fish, and draw our fish! This is not an easy thing to draw, but they're doing a great job!
Here's how to draw The Rainbow Fish

After they trace their drawing with a marker, they'll color with oil pastels.

  1. There are many different types of tropical fish in the world today. Whether for keeping at home in an aquarium as a pet or a hobby, you might have some trouble selecting them. Most tropical fish importers usually have tropical fish from two different families which are as below:
    • Characins: fish like tetras, silver dollars, and hatchet fish are some of the most renowned fish in the characin family. The fish from this family usually have peaceful temperament and beautiful colors.
    • Cichlids: these are unique species of fish which are often kept as a hobby. They have an awesome personality and behavior when in the aquarium.
Do you think there are more types of tropical fish to be kept as a wet pet?
