These crayon cuties were created a couple of weeks ago, by Kindergarten! I found the idea on Instagram, from @artfunwithms.c. Here's how we created them!
Hi, and welcome to our art room! This site is dedicated to the awesome elementary artists I teach, and is a little window into our world of art. Hope you enjoy!

5th grade 1 point perspective rooms
For the past few weeks, 5th grade has been working on one of their last projects as 5th graders! (& it's taking for-ev-er btw...) They're doing a great job on this tricky skill though. Here's how we created them!
& Sorry I haven't posted much here lately! April and May are super stressful around here! At least state testing is finally over! I'm in the middle of art show prep and trying to get my evaluation portfolio complete. That means I'm mounting and labeling 28 classes worth of art, and each child has 1-3 pieces of art that will be on display! Whew, that's over 1,120 pieces of art! Shew! It'll be worth it though. These kids get so excited to show their art off, and the halls will be filled with color!
4th grade Robin Mead Landscapes
This week 4th grade is starting their Robin Mead inspired landscapes! She's a contemporary artist from Georgia, and you can check out her work on her website here! I was also inspired by the awesome art teacher, Lauralee Chambers, from her beautiful student examples on Instagram! Here's Robin Mead's Instagram too :) She has a Youtube channel too!
Here's how we created ours!
1st grade Catherine Rayner Crocodiles
The past couple of weeks, 1st grade has been working on their Solomons, which are inspired by the author and illustrator, Catherine Rayner, and her book, Solomon the Crocodile. I originally found this idea on Art Room Britt's blog! Here's how we created our own!
