Mother's Day Picasso Inspired Bouquets

It's finally warm and sunny, and we're finally done with testing!! HOOORAAAYY!! We have the beautiful outdoors, Spring/Summer, and Mother's Day on our minds right now! Why not mix a little Picasso in there too? You could do this with any grade, but I chose to try it with 3rd grade this week. It only took one 45 minute class!
Here's how we created our own.

3rd grade Spring Flowers

Last week 3rd grade started this fun, colorful Spring work of art! I've been cruising around the internet for new ideas, and came across this one from The ARtcart, and thought that would be a fun way to practice our drawing, painting, cutting, coloring, and composition skills, all in one project!
Here's how we created our own!

Kindergarten Spring Flowers

I don't know about y'all, but here we are so over snow (we're out of snow days!) and already thinking about spring! So, we're breaking out of our snowy scenes and moving on to bright and pretty things! Here's how we're going to make our vases of flowers, inspired by the fabulous teacher Abby Shukei. You can visit her art blog here!
